In his book, Bailout, the former federal prosecutor and Senior Fellow at NYU gives a blistering insider’s account of what happened behind the scenes. Also presenting are Thomas F. Cooley, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and professor of economics at NYU, and Douglas J. Elliott, a Fellow in the Initiative on Business and Public Policy at The Brookings Institution and former managing director at J.P. Morgan. The Santa Barbara County economic forecast will be delivered by Peter Rupert, director of the UCSB Economic Forecast Project and chair of the Department of Economics at UCSB.
