The Music Academy of the West presents an American program to celebrate Independence Day weekend, in two special Community Access concerts. Popular faculty artist Larry Rachleff conducts the Festival Orchestra, showcasing 100 of the world’s most talented young musicians. The program features Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame member and international superstar pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet in Gershwin’s jazz-inspired Rhapsody in Blue. The orchestra will be showcased in Dvorák’s epic New World Symphony.
