As part of the Music Academy’s four-year partnership with the New York Philharmonic, their Music Director, Alan Gilbert, appears annually in Santa Barbara to conduct and teach Academy Festival Orchestra musicians. Maestro Gilbert will share the emotional beauty of Berg’s gorgeous Pieces for Orchestra and electrify the Granada Theatre with Beethoven’s famous heroic symphony.
