The Letters provides insight into the spiritual foundation, strengths and struggles of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Raised in a strong Christian (Catholic) background, the film follows her struggles to know that her path is the inspired direction that God has for her life. All of this is told on the eve of her consideration and ultimate rise to sainthood within the Catholic tradition in 2016.
