Considered one of the finest comedies of Mexican cinema, Alberto Medina (Pedro Infante), a famous songwriter, is on a vacation hunting trip. The old car he's driving suddenly starts heating up and shooting vapor through the radiator, Alberto gets out of the car to search for water but the car, not having on the emergency break, starts going downhill in reverse until it falls off a cliff and gets destroyed, so he has to walk to find help and ends up in the Valverde's home, asking to make a phone call, but because of his dirty and ragged clothes Emilia takes him for a tramp and invites him to stay with them, Ultimately, he proves he is not a bad person and earns the family's respect.

Considerada una de las mejores comedias del cine mexicano, Alberto Medina (Pedro Infante) es un famoso compositor y está en un viaje de vacaciones. El coche repentinamente comienza a calentarse y a disparar vapor a través del radiador. Alberto se baja del coche para buscar agua, pero el coche empieza a ir cuesta abajo de reversa hasta que se cae y queda descompuesto. Asi que tiene que caminar para encontrar ayuda y termina en la casa de la prestigiada familia Valverde, pero a causa de sus ropas sucias y rasgadas Emilia lo toma como un vagabundo y le invita a quedarse con ellos, en última instancia él demuestra que no es una mala persona y se gana el respeto de la familia.
