This Valentine’s day, join guest conductor Steven Sloane for the theatrical re-telling of the famous love triangle between Robert and Clara Schumann, and Schumann’s young protégé, Johannes Brahms. Was there an affection between Clara and Johannes, even as the elder Robert descended into insanity? In theatrical collaboration with Santa Barbara’s Ensemble Theatre Company, explore this historic saga through the reading of their letters and exploration of their music. It’s a Valentine’s day Triangle of Love.
