Take a journey through the symphonic sounds of Spain, featuring young violinist Chad Hoopes performing Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole. The evening’s Impressions of Spain also feature Massenet’s Ballet Music from El Cid and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol.

Guest artist change as of 3/11/2015: Due to an emergency over the weekend, previously scheduled guest artist Elissa Lee Koljonen is unable to perform with us. After an extensive (and high speed!) international search, we are thrilled that the wonderful young violinist Chad Hoopes had Lalo's Symphonie espanole prepared and is able to get to Santa Barbara in time to replace Ms. Koljonen on the program. We apologize for the last minute change and appreciate your understanding.
