This classic Mexican movie shows us, the classic lifestyle of the Mexican construction workers in the middle 70's. This story begins with the police investigation of the murder of the night watch worker (Ignacio Lopez Tarso). The investigation swiftly expands to the corruption, robberies, acts of infidelity, envy and the poor treatment that these workers receive from their bosses. Some strong language but the movie appropriately portrays the real situation these bricklayers encountered at the time. Based on the novel by Vicente Leñero.
Esta película clásica mexicana nos muestra el estilo de vida clásico de los trabajadores de la construcción en México en la década de mediados de los 70’s. Esta historia comienza con la investigación policial del asesinato del trabajador de guardia nocturna (Ignacio López Tarso). La investigación se expande rápidamente a la corrupción, robos, actos de infidelidad, la envidia y el mal trato que estos trabajadores reciben de sus jefes. Tema y lenguaje fuerte pero la película retrata adecuadamente la situación real que los albañiles encontraron en esos tiempos. Basado en la novela de Vicente Leñero.
