You’ll be seated right on the Granada stage for an intimate, cabaret style performance.  Join Antonio, Jim, Matt and special guest vocalist, Teka for an informal evening blending jazz and classical genres in a unique and highly collaborative style.

ANTONIO ARTESE
An Italian pianist and composer, Antonio Artese has performed across Europe and the U.S. in both classical and jazz genres. Artese has collaborated with jazz artists like Bill Smith and Maurizio Giammarco, and classical musicians such as Maria Luigia Borsi.” His recent project, Two Worlds, premiered at the Lobero Theater in 2022.
 
Artese holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from UCSB, and has conducted masterclasses in Italy and the U.S. He is the dean of the Global Academic Program at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, Italy.
 
JIM CONNOLLY, DOUBLE BASS
Jim Connolly plays the double bass, saw, shakuhachi, kaval, banjo, theremin, piano, and he also sings. Jim grew up playing in both rock bands and orchestras. He attended New England Conservatory and began writing music the day he quit school. He has collaborated with artists including Nate Birkey, Van Dyke Parks, Glen Philips and Jeff Bridges. Jim lives in Santa Barbara.
 
MATT PERKO, DRUMS
Matt Perko is a drummer and composer originally from Cleveland Ohio, now based in Santa Barbara. He has shared the stage with jazz luminaries like Joe Lovano, Kenny Werner, Benny Golson, and many others.
